There are just two rounds left to be played in the 2014 Wyndham Championship and the leaders going into the weekend are Heath Slocum and Scott Langley, who both shot a pair of 65s in their first two round to stand at 10-under (-10), with a one shot lead over several other players. The cut has also been set 2-under (-2).
The top of the leaderboard is quite crammed, with about twenty players within three shots of the lead, some looking to prolong their PGA Tour season by getting into the FedEx Cup playoffs. Others, such as Scott Langley are looking for their first PGA tour win. Given the number of people so close to the lead and the goal of getting into the playoffs present in most players minds, these last few rounds are sure to bring competitiveness and some good golf.
Lastly, here is how our picks are doing to far:
1) Webb Simpson: T16 at 7-under (-7)
2) Bill Haas: T21 at 6-under (-6)
3) Martin Laird: T3 at 9-under (-9)
1) Mike Weir: CUT
Mike Weir shot an excellent first round 66, but followed it with a 74 which brought him just under the cut line. Martin Laird is doing very well also. Stay tuned to see the results of the tournament,
