The final round of the 2014 Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club has just concluded and the winner this year is Colombian Camilo Villegas, who shot an impressive 63 today to finish the tournament at 17-under (-17) with a one shot victory over Bill Haas and Freddie Jacobson.
Camilo matched his first round score of 63 and has shot sub-70 rounds all week. This is his first win in four years, his last one being the 2010 Honda Classic, his most famous wins being the last two tournaments of the 2008 FedEx Cup Playoffs; the BMW Championship and the Tour Championship. This win also puts him safely high up on the FedEx Cup points ranking at 37th.
Here is how our picks finished the tournament:
1) Webb Simpson: T5 at 14-under (-14)
2) Bill Haas: T2 at 16-under (-16)
3) Martin Laird: T14 at 11-under (-11)
Good finishes all around and a very good job by Webb Simpson and Bill Haas. Stay tuned next week for the start of the FedEx Cup Playoffs and our coverage of The Barclays,
